Welcome to Vexbound. By playing the game you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not play.
1. The game
Vexbound is a free puzzle-battle game offered through your web browser, with an offline campaign and online multiplayer. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to play it for your own entertainment.
2. Open beta
Vexbound is currently in open beta. This means the game is provided “as is”: features, balance, rankings and saved data may change, reset or become temporarily unavailable as we improve it. We do our best to avoid disruption but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service during beta.
3. Your conduct
When using Vexbound, you agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts or tools to gain an unfair advantage.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or attack the game servers or other players.
- Choose a display name that is offensive, impersonates others, or infringes rights.
- Reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the game except as permitted by law.
We may limit, suspend or block access (including by IP) to protect the service and its players, for example in response to abuse or automated traffic.
4. Accounts and identity
Vexbound uses an anonymous identity stored on your device — there is no email or password. If you clear your browser storage, your progress and ranking on that device may be lost. Keep this in mind before clearing data.
5. Intellectual property
Vexbound, including its name, artwork, characters, factions and game design, is an original work owned by its creators. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any other game or brand. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the game. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Privacy
Your use of Vexbound is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we handle and why.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the game evolves. Material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
